Symposium on Magnetic Reconnection in Astrophysics

Brief Introduction

The Laboratory for Laser Plasmas and the Institute of Natural Sciences at Shanghai Jiao Tong University will organise a symposium on 10-12 January 2017. The symposium aims at collaboration between plasma theory and laboratory astrophysics. The topics include the experimental studies, the kinetic theory and the fluid models. The symposium will consist of two days of talks and open discussions.
