This summer school consists of two main lecturers, Beniot Perthame from University of Paris VI, and Panagiotis E. Souganidis from University of Chicago. Their topics are “Adaptive evolution and concentrations in nonlocal parabolic PDEs” and “Stochastic Homogenization”. There will be some other lectures on topics from homogenization, multiscale computation to uncertainty quantifications.
The goal of this summer school is to introduce to Ph.D. students, postdocs, and young researchers basic background as well as recent advances in applied, computational and stochastic analysis for multiscale and stochastic systems arising from biological and physical sciences.
