In this talk, we will give a review of our research on multiscale methods for the problems with some sigularities and multiscale phenomena. We will also show some recent results on the uniform error estimates and some applications of our methods.

Prof. Zhongyi Huang received his Ph.D. from Tsinghua University in 1999. His research interests mainly focus on numerical methods for problems with singularities and multi-scale phenomena. He obtained the second grade award of Beijing Science and Technology Award in 2002, the Pieter Hemker Prize from BAIL2008 in 2008, and the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars in 2013.
