In 2018, Lin LIU received his doctorate in biostatistics from Harvard University. From June 2018 to July 2020, he was a postdoc at Harvard University. In August 2020, he joined the faculty of Institute of Natural Sciences / School of Mathematical Sciences, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
He has published dozens of articles in scientific journals including Nature Communications，PLoS Computational Biology，Statistical Science and etc. Among them, a paper by Lin LIU and his collaborators was published online in Statistical Science. A discussion of this paper by other fellow statisticians, together with a rejoinder, will also be published in the same issue of Statistical Science.
