More than 70 papers have been published in top journals such as SIAM Review, SIAM Journal of Numerical Analysis, SIAM Journal of Scientific Computing, Journal of Computational Physics.

In 2018, Shi Jin delivered a 45-minute invited lecture at the 28th International Congress of Mathematicians. In 2019, Prof. Shi Jin’ group received the inaugural Best Article Award from the Springer Journal Research in the Mathematical Sciences established for its five year anniversary. Min Tang’s work was part of the main contents of the Plenary Talk of her collaborator, Prof. Benoit Perthame, member of the French Academy of Sciences, at the 2014 International Congress of Mathematicians. In 2013, Zhenli Xu’s paper was selected as the highlight of the year by journal Nonlinearity.

Jinglai Li, Xiaoqun Zhang

The research group published about 40 papers in this field in journals such as Inverse Problems, SIAM Journal on Imaging Science etc. In 2016, one paper by Xiaoqun Zhang and her collaborator published in SIAM J. Imaging Sci. was spotlighted in SIAM Nuggets and reported by SIAM News, Science News and other medias. In 2016 and 2013, two papers by the group of Jinglai Li and Xiaoqun Zhang were selected as “Highlights” of the year respectively. One paper by Xiaoqun Zhang and her collaborators was selected as one of top 100 influential international paper of the year 2011 in China.

In 2018, Weidong Liu received a Distinguished Young Scholars award by the National Science Foundation of China. More than 40 research papers have been published in top journals in probability and statistics, such as the Annals of Statistics (9 papers), Journal of the American Statistical Association (5 papers), Biometrika, Annals of Applied Probability, Probability Theory and Related Fields and Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series B.

More than 30 papers have been published in top journals in related fields, including 3 in PNAS, 6 in PRL, 1 Nature Physics, 2 Nature Communications, and 1 Science Advances. In 2018, Liang Hong and Jie Zhang respectively published a paper in PRL. Both of their research work were selected as research highlight of APS. In 2012, a paper published in PRL by Hepeng Zhang was selected as a cover article. In 2011, Zhang Jie published a paper in Nature.

More than 20 papers have been published in top journals in relevant fields, including 2 PNAS, 2 PRL, 2 Nature Communications, 1 PLOS Biology, and 4 PLOS Computational Biology. In 2019 and 2014 respectively, Songting Li and Douglas Zhou published two papers in PLOS Computational Biology and both papers were selected as highlights of the journal. In 2017, Ulsmchneider-Mayer published a paper in Biophysical Journal which was selected as New and Notable Highlights. In 2013, Dan Hu and David Cai published a paper in PRL which was selected as the cover story. In 2012, David Cai and Dan Hu published a cover paper in PLOS Biology which selected as highlights of the research of the year by Nature.
